As Simon says - there is no point in posting requests for help with remedies if a proper case has NOT been taken. There are no short cuts.
Kent made two (amongst SO many others) important observations reargding successful casework - (1) The sick are entitled to exact knowledge, not guesswork.
(2) It is only by sustaining the sharpest kind of work that you will be able to keep
up your reputation, and be able to cure people.
If you are stuck with a complex case, after taking a full case - and you are sure that you do have the full case, with all the characteristic symptoms of the individual patient, then that is another matter. Rubric selection can be a tricky business, and it is the key to a successful repertorisation and remedy selection. I am sure we are all happy to make suggestions in this way. However, it is not appropriate to offer prescriptions based on a few vague symptoms - this is not a case. Neither are there "standard" remedies - this cannot be cured by a "knee-jerk reaction.
You must do the basic work of getting to understand your patient and the way he or she is expressing their symptoms, so that you can then do the rest of the job. This will be so much more rewarding for you - as well as your patients.
