Materia medica of Hahnemannian antipsori remedies
GUAJACUM OFFICINALE
juice of the west indian tree
It is a plant. It was first introduced to Europe , in the year 1508 , after discovery of America. It is a native plant of Jamaica, St. Domingo and warmer parts of America. At first it was supposed to be a perfect specificfor Syphilis , but in practice it failed, in the end they (old school, allopaths) only used it for obstinate cases of syphilis when Mercuris failed.
It was proved first time by Hahnemann in 1818. We can find these phrases in chronic diseases(CD):
" The sap which flows from the West Indian tree guajacum officinale , which when inspissated is called gummi guajaci consists in great part of a peculiar kind of resin.
The homoeopathic physician will not allow himself to be led astray by the indefinite and delusive recommendation of the old Materia Medica to use Guaj for gout and rheumatism. "
Qestion: Name 3 important location (which organs or tissues are mostly affected)
Sincerely,
