From my perspective, I would not be happy with "routine" prescribing of ANY remedy or potency. Each prescription has to be indivdualised to the individual patient and their symptoms. However, we all can cite periods when we seem to have a "run" of patients all appearing to need the same thing - the universe is a strange place.
Maybe your colleague atttracts a particular type of patient for whom this is appropriate - but then again, maybe not. A CM dose monthly seems a little heavyhanded - | have only ever used a CM potency once in 15 years - and then only a single dose, never repeated. I would be concerned about all sorts of things - aggravation, suppression, etc.
What to do about it is another matter. Are patients complaining? Have you had to treat patients following this method? If so, is this a consequence of the prescribing - ie are they worse? You may have cause to speak to your colleague, but I would counsel caution unless you are very sure that this method is causing harm to the patients. IF real harm is being done, then you may need to involve a professional body to investigate the professional conduct of this persons' practice.
