TO EVERY SEASON

hello lists.
a difficult one to write to you.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1998. I've been working with it since.
no lectures about therapies please. I've done almost all of them.
In the last month I've had a bit of a "slide." My energy is low, I'm
sleeping a lot, I have pain to be managed.
Essentially, I'm getting ready (albeit slowly) to shuffle off to
another plane of existence.
When? who knows!
clotho weaves the string, Lachesis measures it, and Atropos cuts it.
I'm working on tying up loose ends-- trying to get my library
database up on my web site.
my thoughts?
I am extremely saddened that there are few out there who have no
interest in where we came from. Everyone is looking for the remedy. A
poor place to go.
Homeopathy is about the PROCESS. Forget the modern gurus. Go back to
the basics.
Read the old books.
Learn who these people were.
Develop a fondness for Dunham and Farrington. Revere the work Hahnemann did.
do not listen to false prophets.
Homeopathy is simple. Stick to it.
Learn to research on your own. I will not be around for ever to hand
feed you answers. The answers exist-- but they are buried in the
books you do not look at because you are looking for remedies and not
reasons. You use the books poorly-- you look for answers. READ the
books-- just don't use reference works or EH to suck out an answer
that has no meaning in context.
Do the hard slog that Kent told you about. Homeopathy rewards those
who work at it.
I'll be here for as long as I can manage.
After that, It's up to you.
Don't fall into the trap of "new is better"
do homeopathy.
