Hi all

Would it be a good idee to talk about a different remedy from the
periodic table every other week.
And then get to know all kind of experiences from over the world
(members from this list about every remedy one by one.
Starting with Hydrogen and 94 weeks later we would come to Plutonium.
So, what do you say.

Maybe that is a better idee, and then take only those who had a
descent proving.
Then Plutonium could be a good one to start with.

Talking about the Lanthanides, has anyone heard anything about when Scholten's book on them will finally be available? The seminar was great, but we need more specific information about each remedy in order to use it with any confidence, and there ARE a significant number of clients who could really benefit from these remedies.

Well I did it again, get very enthousiastic, start running and forget
to look if anyone is following
I may be interested in Hydrogen or Plutonium but mayby you guys want

So maybe it would be a good idea to make a list of remedy's that
people have interest in or cases they want to share.

The folks who want to do this can just start doing it, and share the results privately with each other or on the list -- perhaps share the process privately, and offer the results on the list as an attachment to anyone who declares an interest (the people doing it will be the ones who actually benefit, of course). So first, maybe find out who wants to participate, then decide among that group where to start???

I like the idea of starting with the less-known remedies, at the
Plutonium end.
Someone asked whether Scholten's system was verified or speculative? I
have only what's in the book, but there he emphasizes that it is
speculative, at this point. And I think Sankaran has also offered his
refinements on the system--has anyone heard him talk about that, and is
that material that we could add to the pot?

Let's say we were to start with Plutonium nitricum. How would we propose to do it?

A search for information I have access to brought up 4 main sources of information: A rather in-depth interview with Jeremy Sherr in American Homeopath 2000, about his provings in general, followed by detailed articles and cases of both Helium and Plutonium nitricum; Scholten's chapter which is based on Sherr's proving; a chapter in Vermeulen's Synoptic II which seems largely based on a proving by Ritzer and Eberle reported in Links 4/95 (I don't have access to this -- it would be great if someone did and could share it); the list of symptoms from Synthesis.

So, there are two main proving sources, Sherr and Ritzer-Eberle. It would make sense to compare and contrast them. Sherr published a case and a discussion of the remedy in American Homeopath 2000. Does anyone have cases or know of other published cases? (I strongly suspect Alize Timmerman may have one or several, but I don't have access to them in writing -- can anyone on the list get them (I might have one someplace in seminar notes)? )

It might make sense to decide, even if there are only a few of us, to start with a remedy -- this one is as good as any other, it seems to me, based on reactions so far, and personally I like the idea of exploring some of the less known but still relatively well documented minerals/ salts. If we do this, then a roundup of the sources of information available is a good second step. Third, perhaps we should decide what we want to end up with after reading the available sources??? Surely there must be a few more unpublished cases around....
