oleum jecoris

hi all
is it that the starting material for oleum jecoris the same as common cod liver oil, or the one used orally is a diluted form of thick cod liver EXTRACT [or paste perhaps].

Dear Dr. Afsar Imam, Clarke says that Oleum Jecoris is the oil obtained from
the livers of Gadus morrhua AND some other allied fishes. Hope this is
