foot in mouth

Good on yer, Julian! In recent months I have been frequently heard to say
that every homeopath should be ill as a compulsory part of their
professional training for this very reason!
However, in my experience if there is one thing worse than instant
prescriptions of the fairly obvious type by someone who knows nothing of the
case or who has a predictable solution to every problem (ie no
sugar/aspartame/wheat/choose your own,) then it is questions of the ' have
you thought about what is your illness telling you about your life choices
etc'. type. What a cheek! It may well be a good idea to consider these
things but those suggesting them are lucky to get away with their teeth in
my case and I hope for their own sakes no-one has tried it with you!
I know people are well-meaning and trying to be helpful but .......

hello list!
Just in for some tests and pain management. Today I'm feeling pretty good.
Writing from my computer in the Mary Potter Hospice in Wellington.
I am quite touched by the outpouring of support from the world-wide
homeopathic community. However, a little chastising is called for....
(oh God! here he goes again!)
When one becomes involved in homeopathy it is SOOOO easy to think you
can save everyone-- individuals through the entire world. The call of
the remedy is certainly a siren call-- but we often forget the rocks
on which the boats were dashed when sailors heeded the call of those
deadly women....
