Hi Julian,
We are not totally a lost cause in the UK. Homeopathy Awareness Week is an
annual event run, as far as I am aware, as a *joint* effort between the
various groups. Our organisation (ARH) is having a Birthday seminar on 9th
April and a Birthday edition of HIP in May - and I am sure the other
organisations will be doing something similar.
We are also *all* involved in an effort to try and present a more unified
front to the public via a unified register, which is taking up a lot of
energy at present. Obviously there are many marked differences of opinion
as, if there were not, we would all be on the same register in the first
place.
Lack of awareness of the international effort is a shame, I agree, but maybe
it is because we have strong enough local organisations to be doing stuff
locally.
So don't despair of us!

If the UK organisations REALLY believe the HAW is what is needed to
change public opinion across the board about homeopathy, then that
really sums up what is wrong with these organisations

It really wouldn't be painful to make the changes! All is required is
the will. At the moment that does not exist.
The cooperation that exists between the organistaions is MINIMAL and
frankly embarrassing

Really Theresa -that's a complete cop out!
Laughable!
