CA Brest

One month back a pt had presented with a lump in the left upper
quadrant of the breast, So i had referred for the test. Today she came
with a report of FNAC- confirming of CA Brest with axillary lymph node
metastasis+.
She is very poor and has no idea what to do, the lab ppl told her that
she must operate it and do radiation and chemo from to the sri chitra
institute Trivandrum. But she does not even has the money to traveling
till there. But i understand that her son a teen ager is of the opinion
that she must not wait and go for it. I dont know what to advice.
Constitutional wise she appears to be as sepia, yet to confirm. I am not
able to confirm whether there is more metastasis to other parts. She
has severe pain to the left arm from the breast ( mostly due to
metastasis i doubt)
I personally have no any experience with CA's though it is area where i
like to gain more knowledge.
I know that excision and radiation is not so advisable on most of the
CA's.
Breast CA is having the most metastasis irrespective of its size. So is
it safe here to continue like this.
What else can i give can the specifics in the boric for CA Brest help
- any experience or advice.
Looking forward for informative replys
