Dear List Members,

I would like to share with you an experience that might be useful to others.

I do not have the permission of the client to disclose information. Here are very general statements.
In a case of Cystitis, especially when there is rapid onset of symptoms, I have found (Edgar Cayce) that the administration of 2 tsp (teaspoons) of baking soda in 6 ounces of water will give relief rather quickly. Cayce has said that no organism can grow in an alkaline environment. The baking soda or Sodium Bicarbonate will make the urine alkaline. I understand that this is not a cure. However, this will buy us time to find the right remedy for this particular client. In this particular case E. Coli was involved, which is a Gram Negative organism (Gram = a staining method). I don't know whether all types of bacteria are affected by the Sod. Bi.

this is very interesting. Does the baking soda solution have to be taken internally or applied externally?

Keeping the urine alkaline is one of the methods of controlling
infection and reducing symtpoms. MOst often patients are advised to
drink barley water, which is a natural alkalinizer. Otherwise there
are products (syrups, granules) in the market that are to be mixed
into water and taken orally to keep urine alkaline.

BAking Soda is a good home remedy tip.

## Take it internally; drink it, all of the 6 oz with 2 tsp of baking soda. This is not a cure. This is to buy time, while looking for the simillimum.

An even better method is to use Nat Phos 6X. This reduces acidity in the blood and body. A great acid neutralizer.
