Thank you for replying. Most helpful indeed, and confirms what I
suspected - the px would become highly 'sensitised'. I was given a
list of the *no-no's*
to be avoided three days before and three WEEKS after and was
concerned that even
things like Vitamin C, Evening Primrose Oil and Cod liver Oil should
be avoided.
(The latter is understandable if you don't know the quality of the
source and
pollution etc., but even still ...)
I will discuss this with my px and agree to defer treatment till
after the yearly injection (now the third year) soon to be received.
Thank you also for
the olfaction reminder; I can use this to gauge sensitivity at the
next consultation.

PS: I also had a px on Depo Provera injections and she became a mass
of
neuroses after the injections and irregular menstrual bleeding with
terrible pain.
There is also no info on the long-term effects, and I am concerned
that it
will cause hormonal imbalances in later life.
