With all the strength at my command, I would endorse what Rochelle Marsden has said. One of the most remarkable beauty of homoeopathy is that it takes totality of symptoms into consideration and then prescribes remedy.

It's of course much more useful to take the whole case. This is also very complex, usually, with psychiatric illnesses, which are severe, and generally have a lot of hidden components. For what it's worth, there are at least three remedies not in this rubric that I've seen work mirculously for different patients suffering from OCD: Agar, Cench, and Nuph. I'm sure there are many other remedies that have helped as well, for other patients. I'd place more faith in the actual symptoms than in this particular rubric -- e.g. Thoughts tormenting or persistent, or gestures repeated, or washing hands, or whatever. Rosemary

Hello Babak

Try a naturopathic liver clease (see below, adjust amounts for a child) combined with liver-support remedies such as nux vom, carduus m., chel, etc. according to your case-taking & prescription.

Therapeutically, I've found nux vom works well during the cleanse period. Follow through after the cleanse with your prescription rx to re-build the liver. An intercurrent of Chlosternum may help prevent the re-formation of stones.

Keep on a "soft" diet (vegetarian, no-fat, low-protein) for at least another 30-60 days to give the liver a rest and allow your homeopathic prescription to do its job. Do the cleanse again after 2-3 months.

After you do the first day of "lemon-olive oil cleanse" if you find too many stones (more than 5) in the next morning's stool, continue the cleanse every night until there are no more stones showing up in the stool. This cleanse is painless and harmless UNLESS ultrasound has indicated over-large stones. But I know from direct experience a person can pass out stones as large as a thumbnail without harm.

The cleanse is benefited by daily cleansing enemas so that the intestines get cleaned out. (that is not enemas to for passing stool - first pass stool, then do the enema to clean the intestines further) More, you can further the enemas by adding appropriate Mother Tincture(s) in small doses into the enema such as berberis, chelidonium, carduus m. etc.

You biggest problem here will be getting that little girl to gulp down the olive oil + lemon. 1/4-1/3 glass will do.

Liver Cleanse

This is a special and simple way to cleanse your liver and expel gall stones harmlessly. It will help you to clean out different pollutions that may have accumulated in your liver. It can also help to clean out gallstones from the gall bladder and liver.

The best way to do this cleanse is to first prepare yourself for 3-5 days by eating simple food. For 3-5 days try to:
***Best is a total fruit & vegetable diet without any other food. But if you can't do that then do this modified diet:
-not eat fried food, chips, margarine, food cooked in “fat”, etc. Cut all oil out of the diet
-eat vegetables that have only been boiled, salad, fruit.
-you may eat a little rice or other starch-food, but have it cooked softer
- no milk, beans, animal foods of any sort
Also
-include some apples, pears or other high-pectin fruits, especially the last two days of your preparation. Apple juice can also be taken. The natural juices of the apple help to soften gallstones.

On the last day you will have to fast for a ½ day. Follow these instructions:
On the last day
Drink 5-8 cups of water through out the day.
Don’t eat after 3 PM.
6 PM. In the evening take one spoon of Epson Salts (mag. sulphate salts) in a glass of warm water.
8 PM. Take another drink of Epsom Salts and water.
10 PM. Mix a ½ -glass of olive oil and a ½ -glass of lemon juice. Sit or stand nearby your bed. Stir it up and drink it down. Either drink it quickly or slowly, as best as you can manage.
Lie down immediately on your back with the head a little raised. Don’t walk around at all. Don’t move for at least 30 minutes. It is best to go to sleep. If you feel too much discomfort, you can take an Eno or other antacid to ease the discomfort.

The next morning:
6 AM. Take another dose of Epsom Salts! You may be running to the bathroom already by then. And in that case the next dose is unnecessary!
8 AM. Take another dose of Epsom Salts if you feel it necessary.
Wait for one hour before taking anything else. You can start with some lemon or orange juice. Then another hour before you eat your regular breakfast.

The Epsom Salts act to open up the liver, but it will also cause some diarrhea. Don’t be worried to see the diarrhea. In the morning, gallstones and any other dirt from the gall bladder and liver will come out naturally in the stool. Gallstones will look either black, brown or bright green (like peas) and will be mixed into your stool.

This liver cleanse is painless. Only you may feel a little discomfort from drinking the olive oil and lemon. In that case, have some antacid to take on the last night.

All the ingredients for this liver cleanse can be bought at the market, supermarket or pharmacy. You’ll need:
2 lemons (market)
¼ - ½ cup olive oil (supermarket)
3 5 tablespoons of epsom salts (also known as “magnesium sulphate”, available at most pharmacies in town)
antacid (optional) (market)
5 10 apples or 1-2 litres apple juice (optional) (market)
