Hi Robyn,
I continue to be SO puzzled about all this, because of my tendency to
be somewhat random in my potency choice, and my impression thus far
that there is a wide latitude in effective potency for most cases. Yes
I get plenty of "no response" doses too, and it's possible that some of
those are "wrong potency" rather than "wrong remedy", but in so many
other cases I have varied the potency for rather arbitrary reasons
(e.g. my view of the patient's sturdiness, or what's available, or most
particularly, just experimenting!). Sometimes when I *do* have a
remedy working well for myself, I've experimented with different (low)
pottencies just to *see* the difference, and really the only
significant difference I've consistently seen, is that the lower the
potency, the more frequently a re-dose is needed. I have *not* seen
significant differences in what symptoms were being relieved. Actually
I have not seen *any* differences in what symptoms were being relieved!
In particular re Ars:
Most of my use of this remedy so far has been for acute states rather
than chronic, but in myself for some years these were *very* reliable
indicators for when I myself needed Ars to deal with an acute. It was
a very particular *kind* of restlessness combined with heavy
exhaustion, where in spite of feeling such heavy fatigue, restlessness
was even stronger and I'd be up pacing the house, poring over the
computer (sorry, no tidying up
), wondering whether maybe *this*
time I was *really* deathly ill after all (always felt silly about it
once it was over)... And also often enough burning pains > heat.
Also
My son in his early years went thru several periods of intense anxiety;
the first were when he was tiny, so I have no words, but his restless,
anguished anxiety and inability to sleep yielded like *magic* to ars
30, and later 200. Several years later he went thru a period of
asking me over and over, so anxiously, questions such as, "What happens
when people die? Why do people die?" and "Do parents ever die?" (I
have *no* idea what set this off!!!!!) This too melted away like magic
(and lastingly) after Ars 200.
So I am *completely confused*!!!!! by his assertions here--got any
ideas?
