Friends,
For those people who know Peter Chappell, we know that he is a
remarkably generous man and homeopath. He has spent much of the past 2
decades (!) in eastern European countries and in various 3rd world countries
donating his teaching expertise and his clinical care. I personally feel
strongly that anyone who questions his financial motivations or his ethics
simply do not know him.
Also...for those of you who do not know him, Peter was one of the
founders of the Society of Homeopaths in the UK. He dedications to
classical homeopathy is deep and wide.
As for results with PC1, I encourage people to simply read the writings
of Harry Van Der Zee, MD, the long-time editor of HOMEOPATHIC LINKS (one of
the world's best homeopathic journals for practicing homeopaths!). Harry
has observed a lot of very impressive results with PC1.

I find it interesting and sadly predictable that so many homeopaths have
questioned his ethics and his practices almost in a similar way that
allopaths have questioned those of us who practice and use homeopathic
medicines. The mind-set that creates dogma and that creates chauvinism of
various sorts is insidious...and we all have to be self-reflective on how
easy it is to fall prey to it.

As for Links, I personally find it one of the least interesting of
the Journals. As the practice of homeopathy seems to drift into the
worlds of speculation and away from the guidance of the basic
principles, I find LINKS to be at the forefront of the move away from
principles. The last issue contained several pieces in which the
authors were speaking in neologisms-- Scholten defining NEW words to
explain what Hahnemann stated clearly.
It all seems like a large mental wank. I read LINKS only to
understand how far homeopathy is drifting from its foundations.

Most of those I get are drifting a bit from the straightness I'd like to see.

American Homeopathy (USA organ of North Am. Soc. of Homs.-- only once a year)
Homeopathic Heritage (India. B. Jain. ed. by Farokh Master-- lots of
ok new stuff and good reprints)
Homeopathy in Practice (the organ of the Alliance of Registered
Homeopaths-- not the straight and narrow, but at least they KNOW they
are not and make no bones about it)
LINKS (Holland-- I've talked about).
Similia (Australia a bit flaky at times but OK)

Of all the ones I like reading the most, I'd have to mention the
HOmeopathic Recorder (USA 1886-1959) and the Organon (1878-1881).
THe last two have MANY issues available as part of Encyclopedia Homeopathica.

Read the old stuff. It shows how much THEY knew and how much we lost.
