Dear Peter

This is the report of my patient's reaction to your PC ME remedy.

The patient (already discussed briefly on Minutus) is a young lady about 16
now - came to me in Autumn 2003 with the diagnosis of ME and Headaches and
very poor sleep - was on Prozac.

Nat-m helped a little and she gradually came off Prozac but symptoms of
tiredness and weakness persisted and did not really respond to any of the
indicated remedies I came up with. Headaches also eventually improved from
constant to a few episodes in a week. Sleep was also improved but nothing to
write home about.

When I told the patient and her mum about the PC remedies, both wanted to
give it a try.

2 weeks ago, I gave her 1 dose of PC ME (1 pill in a dropper bottle, 1 drop
in table spoon of water - hold in mouth for 5 secs)

Immediately the next day she was FLOORED. WEAKNESS, achy joints and
muscles. Just wanted to curl up and rest and not move. (We discussed this at
your class if you remember).

Since then I have monitored the case and there has been a steady
improvement.

Tonight I spoke with her and she now sleeps for 10-12 hours with good
quality of sleep. (making up for lost sleep?)

Some weakness is still there and she gets tired if she has to carry anything
heavy and muscles ache. However she said I feel good.

I spoke to Mum as well and she said " She is more of herself, Happier,
Brighter, seems to have more energy and has a Spring in her step." [None of
my other prescriptions had caused such a reaction or response.]
I think this is a fantastic result so far. It will be interesting to see how
long she will go on the only dose she has had and what will happen if she
has to take another dose.

I shall keep you posted with developments.

With my thanks and regards
Soroush

Hi Soroush
Fantastic! Great to hear some real practical information about the remedies
and about a remedy for the type of disease we often see.
As remedy information can be obtained from clinical experience, not just
provings, is it possible to share with us more details of the case? I realise
that this may not be possible due to confidentiality issues etc. but If we share
information on the cases where these remedies work and almost as important,
any cases they do not work for, we will be able to use these remedies
reliably in a homeopathic manner. Just a few pointers, like was there grief as a
possible aetiology. reserved personality, etc(just guessing from the nat mur)
may help us build up a picture.
When we have enough information to prescribe with confidence this will
definitely be homeopathy, no argument. If the range of cases is wide, or it
happens to fit accurately to an allopathic disease label, that is very convenient
and makes it no less homeopathic. In the meantime, I say we should use them in
apropriate cases, gain experience, and claim the concept for homeopathy
before the Allopaths hijack it ;-) Well done Peter and Soroush.
Thinking about ordering the parkinson remedy for a patient who gave up
(prematurely IMO) a few months ago if he is interested in trying it.

We already have hundreds and hundreds of rx available for someone who might
be suffering from so called ME. Don't be lazy! Soon we won't have to bother
taking the case if this sort of practice carries on.

How anyone can prescribe a rx without knowing what they are giving and
treating their clients like some experimental laboratory is astounding to
me. You are luring them with promises you don't know you can keep. Many
people will succumb to a lure such as this, you only have to know what some
people put themselves through regarding allopathic treatment for cancer.

What really really irks me about this hot air approach is that even though
Homeopathy has a solid foundation in this country (Britain) it has taken a
long long time to get anywhere near for Homeopathy to be outwardly welcomed.
We are just about entering that era now.

What you guys are doing (the PC devotees) are putting all that to waste and
abandoning classical Hahnemannian homeopathy back to the wilderness and
making it really really difficult to soundly educate people towards one of
the best healing process there is. As yet you haven't even justified what
you are doing; you've created a bizarre language to glorify it; you've even
supplied a few so called cured cases with these unproved, non-potentised so
called remedies but you haven't convinced at all. You have reduced it to
guesswork. Homeopathy can be hard work and I shudder to think of all the
people out their who find it hard taking the case and finding the true
simillimum via the classical methods, will just resort to the PC rx because
they think it will make life easier. You are putting far more at stake than
you realise.

Alongside this I thought this list was supposed to be for classical
homeopathy. If it is changing its remit also then I will be moving on.

I wonder how many posts there would be if one were to go back over the
last month or so, that related EXCLUSIVELY to classical homeopathy?

It seems to me that most respondents enjoy the comparison of differing
forms of practice, using them as foils against which to parry, not
least of all you Joy, don't you secretly enjoy getting your dander up?

Otherwise why not initiate more posts purely on classical homeopathy
yourself and reverse the trend?

Perhaps you have no questions at all on classical homeopathy and so can
only enjoy the list in teacher mode, in which case surely you need
students, those of a less experienced or classical bent than yourself
without whom there'd be no discussion, so why the complaint?

C'mon, you know you love this list, and I for one would miss your posts!

There are also CFS cases who have been treated for two years each with three top, I mean TOP world homeopaths to no avail, not to mention other treatments
How long should a patient suffer? 20 years with CFS is common.
When do you admit to failure?
Bye

I saw MANY "top" homeopaths for a skin condition over a period of 20

Homeopathy is not always the answer. There ARE other modalities that

I have heard of many examples where people went to *top* homeopaths without results, and were finally cured by homeopaths with less experience and glamour - maybe the "hit and miss" is more with the homeopath than with the remedy!
