I have a patient who (except from other symptoms) sees the days in
colors. for every day, she sees a different color.
Does any one on this list have experience with this symptom?
How should I rep this symptom, because I think it is very special.

Best regards, Willy

Another remedy that occurs to me besides the ones already suggested might be Anhalonium, which is in rubrics perceiving all kinds of other perceptions and ideas as colors.

For instance:

VISION - COLORS before the eyes - one color; everything is as if

anh.sp1
But also colors, touches, sounds, scents as colors, other objects as colors....

Is this the condition called Synaesthesia or is it to do with auras of some
kind of a mechanical fault of the eye?

There are so many colour references in the Vision chapters of the reps and
thus so many rx that might be applicable I would study them at length.

Why is this Sx important to the case?
How strong is it or was it just mentioned in passing,i.e. is it a
problem?
Knowing that could help find the Rx
kind regards

Thanks for all reactions,

I do not think that this sx is important to the case, but I never heard of
it and was just curious .
Although it is quite strong because if someone mentiones a day, she sees the
colors belonging to it and this is always the same colour fo the same day,
for example monday is always yellow). She has this from childhood and she
wants to keep it :-)
And Joy, she has a problem with the eyes called nystagmus.

Best regards, Willy

Hi everybody

This is an interesting subject.

Since I was a little boy, I also see things in colours. I thought at
first that everybody could see this. Therefore to me it was quite
normal.

I see people's personalities in colours. As I am light blue, I avoid
hanging out with people with bright colours. They seem to want to force
me into taking their decisions. The manipulate others with cool colours.

I also see numbers in colours.

Eg.

0 - Black
1 - White
2 - soft yellow
3 - orange
4 - pink
5 - bright red
6 - dark red
7 - Purple
8 - dark green
9 - dark brown

I also remember series of numbers (like telephone numbers) in colour
ribbons. Almost like a barcode on a ribbon.

I do not feel weird or funny about it. A lot of people cannot relate to
that, so I do not often discuss this with others. They label me as a
weirdo. I just thought it might interest you.

Regards.

Anton Smith.

Dear Willy,

This sounds like synaesthesia, where someone "sees" letters, numbers,
days of the week, foods, etc. in colours, or where the sense of smell
is linked to other associations. It is not uncommon. I have it myself
- each number is a different colour etc. The particular associations
begin in childhood and reflect the fact that the brain of people with
synaesthesia has more linkage points (as with dyslexia) so parts of the
brain which might seem unrelated work together.

I hope this helps.

Most interesting. I knew a musician who saw colors. The only time I
ever heard him say anything about it was once, when tuning up, he
complained that someone was not quite in tune. The other person
tried, and Richard said, "no. The B is still not in tune it's too
blue."
