I have a young woman patient with hersuitism. She is thinking of laser
hair removal and asked me if she can take a homeopathic remedy to
counter the adverse effects.
Will x-ray be helpful? any comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Tamara

It seems to me that perhaps a gentler approach to suggest to her could be homeopathic treatment for the hirsutism, which is a result of hormone imbalances and should respond well to the correct chronically needed remedy.

Hersuitism in women is usually caused by a hormone imbalance. Cystic
ovaries are a common cause. Elimination of all white sugar and flour products will
be helpful in reducing the formation of cysts on the ovaries. Their
metabolism of refined sugar/flour products impacts the entire endocrine system in
these women. If this woman has had difficulty trying to lose weight, or a slow
metabolism, this will be another sign pointing to cystic ovaries. There
will also be some irregularity to the menstrual period. There may also be a
tendency toward insulin resistant diabetes, though no actual disease may be
present. Take the case based on generals then look at the particulars.
