200C Potencies can be dangerous

Magda et all,

I learned from Dr. A.U. Ramakrishnan to use 200C 4 times in a 24 hour period, either dry or wet, who learned from Marjorie Blackie, who gave 200C potencies 3 times a day, once every 14 days.

My success rate got much better when I went from 200C once and wait & see, to the above frequency. That includes Adults & children.

Although I have given 30C, 4 times in 24 hours also, to those that I thought were "sensitive".

Hi Bill,

Could you say more about what differences you've seen between 200c four in
24 compared with once, watch-and-wait? Have you been able to verify thru
long-term follow-up that the greater number of responses resulted in greater
number of successful resolutions? (My reason for asking is that I've seen
several instances where a remedy responded *very* well initially, but was
not actually close enough to cure or even move the case; just a
tantalizingly wonderful response that disappeared, and could not be brought
back again by that remedy (same or different potencies).

Thanks!
Shannon

Having attended Dr R's post grad course I have tried this 4x 200 a day (I use dry doses) prescribing every fortnight with one or two patients with chronic conditions. I have found no aggravations from doing this. However I don't think I have had any better results but then I haven't done this prescribing consistently. I believe if you expect agg. you get them!!

I take it that this is a light hearted expression. But it is precisely what
the public do not need to hear or read about. It places homeopathy on a
fickle plane if it comes down to expectation and/or intention.

Our clients shouldn¹t be seen as experiments either.

Homeopathy is a fickle plane, it shouldn't be; but it is, from all the books
available on the market where one can read all kinds of
conflicted ways to work with homeopathy. mail groups are just and add on to
read or learn more conflicted ways :-)

Many of us can attest that provings (and other inconvenient stuff) can
happen even to someone who *didn't* expect it...

But aside from that, sure, if you're expectingn an aggravation, then any
slight worsening will fill the bill. If you're *not* expecting an
aggravation, then that same slight worsening becomes "just a wiggle", "a bad
hair day", "waiting for the remedy to really kick in," etc.

Which is one reason H's don't sometimes want to tellPx the Rx or
potency.

I'm really frustrated by this thread, and want to play the Emperor's
New Clothes here. I'm just a beginner, and have not much experience
with humans. But I know first hand of MANY dogs who have been messed up
by repeated 200c doses, usually of something not the correct
simillimum. Many of these have been permanently damaged as the helpless
owner watched the practitioner dose and redose, change remedies, and
the dog get worse and worse. No amount of correct prescribing can undo
the pathology generated.

Why take a chance on damage, when the LM potencies offer so much more
gentle an approach? I can see nothing bad about doing what Hahnemann
devoted the major part of his later life to explore. What happened to
not doing harm? It's an issue, perhaps, of arrogance, laziness, or
ignorance - the option of gentle and effective treatment is right there
on a platter. I can understand how a 200c or even a 1M might be the
best one can do if treating the indigent in a clinic situation, where
you're never going to see them again, but in any case where you CAN
manage it, why not do so?

I am fully willing to play the dumb kid here, just to get this
viewpoint out there, and I know some of you will agree even if you
haven't said anything so far.
