HOMEOPATHY IN THE RAINFORESTS AND
ON THE BEAUTIFUL BEACHES OF COSTA RICA
FEBRUARY 19-26, 2005
Come join Alize Timmerman and Jonathan Shore for a week in this
wonderful natural setting. Toucans, spider monkeys, parrots, coati mundi
and all kinds of tropical climate creatures surround you and wide open
beaches await. This is a great opportunity to experience these
internationally renowned homeopaths.
Healing as a process will be discussed by Alize at length and in depth,
guided by long term chronic case material. What exactly does healing
mean and how do we interpret the changes we see after administering
remedies. By gaining a fuller understanding of the different levels of
healing, we optimize potency selection and gain more positive results.
Several trees, including Thuja, will be mentioned. We will learn the
developmental process within the remedy Thuja, and learn how to apply
this in a more general manner.
Jonathan Shore will focus on the bird remedies and their connection to
other families such as the drug remedies. He will present cases of
Eagle, Raven, Condor, Vulture, a few ( 2 or 3 ) Opium cases, Agaricus
and Ayahuasca. Jonathan will highlight the process of case taking, going
into the direct experience of what a practitioner receives in the body
rather than in the mind, during the process of taking a case.
During the week we will triturate a new remedy from beginning to end.
Alize will guide us through the process of choosing the substance from
the rainforest as an integral part of this process. She will teach us
how to make remedies ourselves and develop this part of our homeopathic
practice.
If time permits, there will be an introduction to family constellation
work and systemic homeopathy, yet another excellent tool for homeopaths
to possess.
As usual Alize will bring her excellent video cases, dovetailing her
selections to the cases shown by Jonathan.
The seminar will be taught in the mornings and during some of the
evenings, leaving plenty of afternoon time for beaches, snorkeling,
nature walks, and lounging by the pool as desired. Three delicious
buffet meals will be served daily, and even the breaks can include dips
into the pool which is right next to the lecture hall.
