It WOULD be great. But, unfortunately, homeopathy, worldwide, is a
drop in the bucket (almost an infinetessimal!) and is NOT generally
recognized. That is the reality of it. The ONLY hope homeopathy has
to help in this disaster would probably be in India where the system
is established. It is NOT established in any way in Thailand.
When 9/11 happened, a number of homeopaths went to help. The most
qualified was Ed Schalts, MD, who is on the BOD of the NCH. He was
turned away because (as I understand it) his training is not in
emergency medicine and he wanted to use "alternative" approaches. I
DO know of a number of homeopaths who were quite helpful in treating
the aftermath of 9/11, but none did so *on site*.
In would be interested to know what the NCH can do in this. The
powers that be in the world of emergency medicine/relief do not know
about homeopathy and are, generally, not interested in learning. If
you can't get a foot in the door there is no way to show them
anything.
It is a sad situation.
