Groin pain?

How would I look up "a sharp, shooting pain in the fold between upper thigh
and abdomen"? Isn't that "groin", but I can't find any "groin" rubrics
under either abdomen or extremities?

it can be groin, if between thighs
it will be inguinal if between thigh and abdomen

Hello Shannon,
That is the location of the psoas muscle attachments. There is
Extremities, Pain, Thigh, Groin, near:

Extremities, Inflammation, Psoas muscles
Hope this helps.

Sounds like inguinal as someone mentioned. If on the right side it can be
the ileo-caecal part of the ascending colon.

Also, sometimes when you can¹t find the best rubrics for this area under
abdomen and extremities you might try looking at various Pelvis rubrics.

Best, Joy

Thanks Joy,

It doesn't *seem* to be within the abdomen. My impression was maybe lymph
tissue (tho don't know why that would have a shooting(?), stabbing(?),
lancinating(?) sort of pain? Or why a muscle insertion would either...

If you have Phoenix Rep, many references in Male and Female chapters to
"Scrotum and Thighs, between" and genitals and thighs, between. Sorry I have no
software por I'd copy and paste for you.
