Mail Irradiation and Homeopathic Remedies, and other thoughts.

This is from someone on another Homeopathic list who went to the trouble
of investigating this issue. Right now we only know that the postal
service is irradiating the mail going to DC and intends to install 60
such machines in the future.

Please, if you circulate, do CUT AND PASTE, don't hit 'forward', please.

I did consult with morris about electron beams, and the effect they have
on energy medicine- here is the condensed version- if anyone needs more
defintion and complicated explanation, they will have to talk to morris
(who i am prodding to write something with regards to this, for the list)

simply, electron beam machines bombard with high energy electrons, which
can kill living things- could it affect "energy medicine?" according to
morris, yes, because, of cause, energy medicine is a living thing-
apparently, x-ray machines function to emit electron beams, also- morris
gave me a copy of royal rife's original work on anthrax (which is one of
the big things ostensibly being treated in the mail) and, according to
rife's data, in a list of what does and does not affect anthrax, the
line says: influence of x-ray none - so, according to this line of
thinking, what is being done to the mail, etc. with electron beams is
useless in eradicating anthrax- however, what it does affect is things
like homeopathic remedies and organic herbs, etc.

my bigger concern is the erosion of human rights that we are
experiencing under the guise of taking care of peoples' well-being (hey,
don't they also call that vaccinations?) - fear is being used to try to
control aspects of our society, and people, that were difficult to
control before- (heilkunstlers!)- if we can call it the big monster
anthrax (or terrorists) then conditions are instituted which move
people away from being self-regulating and healthy- we start to look to
the external parent (george bush et al.) to take care of us- in an
atmosphere of such pervasive fear, human rights are easily thrown out
for the so-called common good of an authoritarian, life negative,
society- we are fortunate that we have access to heilkunst, to rife,
reich, and other modalities/teaching which encourage true healing, and
health- i have no easy answers- some of us (myself included) have
access to homeopathic remedies which are made in their place of
residence- but that is only a short -term and non-inclusive solution-
and hey, morris says that, if indeed there is a horrendous anthrax
outbreak, you can all come to toronto and get rifed!!!

The current effort involving the irradiation of mail, etc. involves the use
of equipment that produces high energy gamma rays, as opposed to x-rays or
electron beams. Rather this radiation is produced by exposure to
radioactive materials such as radium, cesium, etc., much like treatment of
malignancies by radiation sources. Since most homeopathic preparations
involve the use of inorganic substances and even organic substances that are
not currently alive ie Pulsatilla, it is difficult to understand how
irradiation of this type would affect one of these remedies. Of course, if
the radiation were at a high enough level to split atoms or nuclei of these
remedies then there would be an affect. However, we don't believe that
these radiation levels are high enough to achieve this type of disruption.

This process is similar to that being utilized for the irradiation of dairy
products and meat. This radiation has been shown to kill many types of
harmful bacteria including e-coli, salmonella, etc. Milk that has been
treated by this process can be stored at room temperature for long periods
of time as it is essentially bacteria free. This process has been in use in
Europe for at least 20 years.

Any comments?
Jack

I heard on the news today that this is electrical and will not harm credit
cards magnetic strip, but will effect electronic equiptment. Where does that
leave our remedies? Are they magnetic or electronic?

Hard to know without knowing what kind of electicity is used.
