Hi Luise
I thought it important for me to say that if we are going to criticise a
homoeopath who has worked tirelessly for the past 50 years with only about
3-4 hours sleep per night whilst in clinic in Calcutta, for not providing
his work to be sold on the common market, it would be relevant to ask why?
Dr. Banerji, has probably retired by now from his intense schedule at his
clinics in India, to set up a University to teach his discoveries re the
treatment of disease with his method of homoeopathy.
Luise, it must have been dissapointing for you to travel to India, and try
and purchase his material, but as I had mentioned to you before you left,
they are not available from bookshops, but are only available from him.
There were so few printed (for what reason I do not know, but can guess due
to financial restrictions, his practice being nonprofit)and it seemed that
the last of the stocks were brought to Australia for his seminars, where he
only sells his material. He once told us that the reason he only sells his
material at seminars, is that unless you hear from him how he came to
develop and utilise his methodology, using the books could be detrimental to
patients wellbeing. He stressed how important it was to understand correctly
the philosophy behind his work and not just intellectually, the
prescriptions of his work from just reading the books and the totalities
contained therin. It is possible that many would not bother reading the
philsophy sections and would only go to the therapeutic materia medica
section and this is what he did not want to happen.
His concern, was for patients, not for the sale of his material. I know that
many have urged him to complete his work and make it available, but this has
not been as easy for a man who has performed superhuman feats in treating
volumes and volumes of patients daily for the past 50 years.
I am sure that his sons and others are attempting to put together the
millions of cases into the database, so as to eventually provide the
homoeopathic world with his life's work. It will happen, and then, everyone
who sees it and reads it and studies it can make their own minds up re his
discoveries about different potencies treating different aspects of
illnesses and different illnesses.
I will continue to offer Dr. Banerji's work to the lists that I am on, even
if it is not appreciated by all, for whatever reasons. I feel privaleged to
have met and studied briefly with this man, and will never discount his
work - especially because it has not yet been made available to the general
public.
As I said earlier, it is important to ask Why?
Maybe anyone who is interested in why, could ask him themselves.
Here is an email address - I do not know if it is current. But for anyone
interested it is worth a try.
pbanerji@vsnl.com
Also, if anyone is really curious they could always go to his clinics in
India and spend some months seeing the work of this man and his father
before him, as quite a few Australians have. Only then can anyone really
comment on this mans life's work
Best to you all

Here is an article in German which I have not read, but is about Dr. Banerji
