Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone could suggest good remedy pictures in movies, novels ect that they have seen.

I just saw "Shine" - the life story of David Helfgott. Both the physical and the mental symptoms are beautifully portrayed. It was part of a school assignment, so I won't ruin it for anyone by naming the remedy that I arrived at, but it is an unforgetable way to learn a remedy.

Hmmm, did you miss the Lord of the Rings discussion some time back?

David Mundy used to do a lot of this, probably still does. I loved his
Cindarella version ­ Cinders = Puls, one of the ugly sisters was Lachesis,
the coachman arriving at 12 midnight to take Cinders away = Arsenicum, etc.
He always said that the enfant suavage in Kasper Hauser was a typical Calc
carb.

It is fun and does help remember and understand a rx but you can get stuck
on this and it can become limiting.

Depending on your life experience, an insane stramonium might be hard to imagine. I had not read Lord of the Rings, so I just didn't have time to catch up and follow the discussion. Some of us are really dorky.

Another interesting movie is Kenneth Brannagh's "Frankenstein." It is
very close to the book. It is set in Germany just around 1800-- so it
gives a good picture of the life there and the medical schools of the

Another one (I forget the title... "five nights"?) about the lives of
5 different taxi drivers in five different countries. There is ONE
that takers place in Italy where the driver (what's his name?) is

and his experiences. Very Bufo like... and so funny I nearly stopped
breathing from laughing too hard...

Possibly Fluoric acid? Apart from relishing their sexual exploits they have
