Barbara and everyone else - Please do not respond to this stuff from these
people. These are people who, like children who lose a game, scream and cry
that the only reason they lost is because the other side cheated. It never
occurs to these children that the real reason they lost is that they were
not good enough or worthy enough or, qualified enough to win. For the
edification and education of your writer, it should be noted that Fox News,
Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity are all part of the same network. Fox is
really the only large network in the US that can arguably be said to present
a balanced point of view and that is why your writer could only correctly
name that one network as not belonging to the left in her inaccurate and
inflammatory reply to you. No one tries to hide the fact that Fox has
conservative commentators as part of its programming but Fox also presents
voices from the left as part of their regular programming as well, effete
though those voices may be. I invite you to watch and be amused by them -
Juan Williams, Alan Combes, and the myriad of other lightweights and also
rans who are among their number. Laughably, your writer presents CNN as
evidence of a broadcast network that is not part of the leftist cabal. CNN
is as left as you can get and even though nobody takes CNN seriously, it is
evident that these list people are so far left that CNN is actually quite to
the right of them. ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, BBC, the NY Times, LA Times, etc.,
etc, etc. are all left to far left . . . "mainstream" . . . "news" . . .
organizations and there is nothing worthy about any of them. These
organizations, particularly CBS and ABC, are in the throes of a
journalistic, moral and ethical breakdown and oftentimes do not even pretend
to be impartial as should be the role of any news gathering organization.
These networks are much like Al Jazeera which pretends to speak fairly and
impartially to (and for) the Arab speaking world. Any sane person can see
that they do no such thing and any sane person can see the biases of the
"mainstream" networks already mentioned. As a result, these networks have
lost almost all credibility and that is why growing numbers of people are
turning away from them and toward alternative news sources such as Fox. This
has not happened because the people are stupid and right wing bigots as the
left would have you believe. It is because the people - the citizenry, who
for the most part are hard working and decent people, are fed up with the
lies and divisive and destructive tactics of the childish left. These people
who continue to flog this issue onlist are offensive, divisive and
destructive entities, irrational and unworthy of serious consideration. They
are hate filled and vicious harpies and should not be allowed to go on like
this on a list which belongs as much to us as to them. Apparently, it is
their goal to destroy our list and most certainly, our unity as homeopaths.
Ardavan, why in the name of fair play and decency do you allow this to
continue? You are the list owner/moderator. Why do you not do something to
stop this? Please show some courage. I have seen none from you yet.

That being said, I think I will level an act of defiance towards you, Allen:
after looking at endless posts filled with personal insights and ignorance
about just about anything at all, and after watching you try to conduct what
amounts to character assassination against a member of our community who has
contributed so much, I am making an appeal to Ardavan to remove you from
this list.

Everything you've written since November 3 has been hateful, and especially
damaging to specific people. It's an entire week later, I think people have
been made to tolerate your tantrums and lies long enough.

You will notice that I had said nothing for several days until my last post.
It is your little friends who will not stop the noise and let this whole
thing fade away. Of course, this is typical of your ilk - to keep beating up
on an issue or a person and then criticize and insult the person for
fighting back. Where have I lied? Show me one place where what I said was
not PROVABLY true. You don't have to like the way I say things. I don't like
the way you say things but I don't whine about it. Try growing up. A century
ago, homeopathy was almost destroyed by little people fighting over their
perceived share of the turf. One said his way was better, the other said the
first was wrong and an ignoramus, etc.. Your historian, the person who
started all of this should be able to tell you about it. If Ardavan removes
me from the list, that is his right, although that may be a wrong. I doubt
that would affect you and the other brown shirts much. Like the allopaths,
you will have suppressed the symptoms of the wrongs that you do daily and
you will be free to go your way until the next flareup of your disease
strikes. Killing the messenger will not save you. Have a look at yourselves.
Saying that you are tolerant and wise does not make you so. Why can't you
tolerate me? Certainly, I have an unpopular opinion but one must realize
that the world is full of people with opinions different from one's own. The
crime is not having a different opinion. The CRIME is in trying to SUPPRESS
the opinions and ideas of another. That is why men fought and died to form
free societies. You, however, do not seem to have the capacity to understand
that. Why should you and your cohorts be allowed to tell your truth on a
list which is NOT set up for political discussion and I not be allowed to
protest it? You are a HYPOCRITE and an empty head. If I am wrong, prove it.
If not, please take your own crude advice. For my part, I will continue to
name wrong and corruption when I see it and I will let the chips fall where
they may.

not have the capacity to debate the issues HONESTLY or HONORABLY or to stop

As to your assertion that "they" are whining and you are not, well, er...
it's a more erudite whine, but c'mon. All "whine" means is, "Saying
something I don't agree with in a tone of voice I find annoying." We're all
