This course is about learning from a real Master. Dr. A.U.Ramakrishnan is most famous for his book & treatment approach on cancer. However his knowledge & experience make him an invaluable teacher. He has been in practise for 35 years in India –the only country in the world where Homeopathy is used by a large percentage of the population. Initially trained as an allopathic doctor he then trained with Marjorie Blackie in the 1960’s.He uses lots of wonderful little remedies, but he hugely broadens the pictures & the scope of the Polycrests. What makes his teaching so rare is that it is all based on so much experience as he prescribes for hundreds of cases every day and he has seen patterns emerging of which remedies actually most suit particular diseases. His manner of teaching is lovely as he is so generous of his knowledge and he has a great sense of humour. This post-graduate course will give you so much more confidence to practise.
Two year - Post Graduate diploma in Homeopathy from HEAR*
Successful completion of a written and oral exam following the eight modules will result in a post-graduate diploma from HEAR*.
Each module consists of 15 hours resulting in approximately 120 hours of classroom training.
Live case presentations throughout various modules..
Module 1: Neurology and Heart Disease Jan 29-30 2005
v Neurological conditions - multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, malignant brain tumors, myasthenia gravis, Alzheimer’s disease, A.D.D., hydrocephalus, trigeminal neuralgia, Bell’s palsy.
v Heart disease and circulatory disorders – “Bypassing the bypass” to reduce blockages and reestablish blood circulation; acute myocardial infarction, chronic congestive heart failure, hypertension, high cholesterol, congenital heart disease; peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, and more.
Module 2: Respiratory and Skin Disease, Arthritis, Lupus – April 23-24 2005
v Allergies and respiratory disease – including asthma, COPD.
v Arthritis – osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, rheumatic fever, osteoporosis, simple bone growths.
v Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
v Chronic skin condition – eczema, skin lupus, lichen planus, dermatitis, psoriasis, warts, vitiligo, fungal infections, more.
Module 3: Gynecology and Obstetrics and Peadtrics –October 1-2 2005
v Gynecology – leucorrhoea, menorrhagia, amenorrhoea, PMS, infertility, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, cervical and ovarian cancers.
v Obstetrics – pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, mastitis, morning sickness, preeclamspsia, threatened miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, postpartum hemorrhage, puerpual mania.
v Peadiatrics – common childhood illnesses, measles,mumps,chicken pox, allergies, pneumonia etc.
Module 4: Gastrointestinal and Renal Disease –December 3-4 2005
v Gastrointestinal disorders - Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, amoebic colitis, hepatitis, hepatic cirrhosis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, cancers of the GI organs.
v Renal diseases – nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, renal calculi.
Module 5, Endocrine Disorders and HEENT Disease –January 21-22 2006 -
v Endocrine diseases – Addison’s, Graves disease, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary disorders.
v Disease of the eye, ear, nose and throat – including glaucoma, retinal detachment, Meniere’s, mastoiditis, labyrinthitis, sinusitis, laryngitis, vocal cord disorders, nasal and laryngeal polyps, relevant cancers.
Module 6: Psychiatric Conditions –April 29-30 2006
v Depression
v Bipolar Affective Disorders
v Post Partum Problems
v Psychosis, Schizophrenia, etc.
Modules 7 & 8: Clinical Medicine –June 17-18 2006 & September 16-17 2006
v Highlighting Clinical examination
