eczema in baby

Mez. did nothing but change the eczema from dry to wet.
I have had limited success with Graphites but it doesn't seem to be
working now. He was doing fine until he came into contact with dogs
at his Grandparents. The eczema then got infected and he was put on
a course of antibiotics. Since then the Graphites 30 hasn't really
worked although at first his sleep was better.

Child 5 months old- eczema probably from vaccinations, skin red with
weeping on cheeks, forearms and legs. Very itchy as child wants to
scratch. When he is tired and ready to sleep he starts clawing at
his face and forehead (no eczema on forehead) parents bandage him
(arms and legs) with tubigauze with aveeno cream (contains oats) at
night to stop him scratching. Skin feels lumpy and looks red . He
kicks the covers off at night. He wakes between 2-4 am.is taking
into parents bed and they sleep on either side of the baby holding
his arms down so he doesn't scratch.

Child is very restless, has been since birth when he emerged with
swelling, a bruised face and his right shoulder was out where he had
been pressed against the pelvis. I gave him an Arnica 200 at 12 days
old (bruising and bloodshot eye went away immediately) and he has
had cranial sacral treatment.

He is a friendly, happy, healthy looking child and will go to
anyone. He cut his first tooth yesterday which I suppose could have
made the eczema worse again. Also his sister has chicken pox and we
are hoping that he doesn't get it!!

He was breast fed for 5 weeks and then put on a bottle. Because of
the eczema he is now on a soy formula. He won't drink more than a
sip or two of water. He is also eating well on homemade food.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
