fibrosis for the first time in my practice.writing this case to
you,hoping
that you would give your valuable suggestions & also if u could

the case
ps.4yrs old girl(pakistani girl) suffering from cystic fibrosis
diagnosed at birth.
history:born at 9mnts & 13days.had loose motions at 4mnths.birth
wt.2.39kg.when 1mnth old had urine infection.she was crying so
badly of pain that vagina had turned blue.had wheezing when 3mnts.at
beginning of 5 mnts started
withantibioticsoralaswellasiv.BRhasbeenpronedtohighfever.DIV
at 5mnts had pnemonia.had even lost its breath so was given oxygen.
recents complaints of loose cough greenish sputum & complains of
abdominal pain before the cough starts.during this attack of cough
or rather i would say pnemonia she feels dull during the daytime &
active in the night.yesterday had cough worse at between 3pm to
5pm & had fever in morning at 7am around 102.usally feels chilly
with fever wants covers on.blueness of lips & tongue. & is very dull.
early morn fever around 7-8am.perspires a lot with the fever but i
guess thats the common symptom with cystic fibrosis.
mother had normal pregnancy.but it was a much awaited pregnancy.she
is the second child in the family.in the beginning of
pregnancy- her mothers
unclehaddied.itcameasashockforthemothercosshewasquiteclosetotheuncle&
got the news after
few days.
the child has a very soft skin gets easily bruised,wants to be with
the mother.very quite & wouldnt talk to me when first came to see
me.in the second visit she just smiled once.good with the
siblings.does fight back when angry.
likes sweet things & apple juice.perspiration on face,forehead &
head.
thermals-towards hot
stools -fat in stools has creon tabs around 5-7 a day
thumbsucking habit
on examination
right sided creps-middle & upper lobe.creps more on the left side
wt:14kg. ht:100cm
family history
mother father
grand mother-hypertension,piles grandmother-
hypertension
grand-father-bronchitis ,pnemonia grand-father-
diabetes,smoker
father-IBS,heavy smoker & also drinks sometimes
aunty-kidney stones
i have given her sulp30c in a split dose in the beginn ing.DIV
after 4 days cough better i could see her mood improving.but still
left sided creps.
i gave her phos200c once.
after tht she started with the cough & fever after 3days.she has
started with the antibiotics now.will come to see me tommorow.
kindly looking foward for ur help as early as possible.i dont want
to lose this case.

Dear Dr Shabina, I don't think you have enough characteristic or reliable sx
here and these sx suggest quite a number of remedies - Calc sil; Stannum;
Kali bich; Ant tart; Rumex; Nat sulph; Merc viv; to name but a few.

I would suggest a much fuller case be taken.
