Jennifer's idea is good.

We used to be able to by Nappy lines which was a woven polypropylene mesh.

It acted as a barrier between the baby and the terry-towelling nappy and the
baby's skin remained dry.

Pls see if it is still available.

Her overall remedy, possibly may not be what I'm suggesting, but my daughter
had a SEVERE reaction to the absorption chemicals in her diapers as a baby.
It was so bad she had a chemical burn where the skin was a blood red, and
would peel in sheets. Two things helped. I made cotton liners, out of thin
diapers to line diapers, which could be washed as a buffer against the
diaper material, and a topical homeopathic perscription ointment of
Homeopathic Cantheris. If using this, I could get the chemical burn to
heal. I previously had tried all the kinds of available diapers, but all
had the same reaction, either to the fabric that is used to make them, or to
the absorption material that swells to absorb.

Hi Ruby and Soroush
Thank you so much for this. I am abroad and will probably now have a
problem
getting any Cantharis ointment until Sunday. I will see if they sell
the Weleda
burns ointment here. There are no chemicals in the knickers as they
have
washable absorbant pads. However I wonder about the washing liquid
that is being used.

I feel that the redness is less extebsive and that the Claendula
ointment at the moment is a better bet than the Zinc/cod liver oil
stuff.

Does anyone reckon it is worth trying a Sepia 30 with consideration
of the incontinence on standing from sitting?

Did the involuntary urination begin only after she started the whatever drug
you mentioned, or had it begun before?
