Homoeopathy - The Inside Story.

Dear Friends,
I was a very "rational" person in early life. Believed in science and hated what I thought was superstition. This was till I suffered horrendously in the hands of the "scientific" physicians of the day. Very significantly some books on homoeopathy came my way and voila!, the "Jag" of the other day turned towards the east and became Jagannath once again. I consider Hahnemann to be the reincarnation of Charaka, the legendary physician of ancient India. In his works we have found traces of what could have been homoeopathy had he lived some more. His last experiments were very similiar to the potency system of homoeopathy.
Let me tell you all lovely people out here something about homoeopathy.
So long as man stayed a part of nature and followed its laws, there was no disease, said Hahnemann. But the moment he claimed superiority and treated himself to be separate from nature and its bounties his troubles started. (Eve eating the forbidden apple?). He resorted to selfishness, created his own boundaries, sought his own enjoyment at the cost of others, degraded himself mentally to convert love to lust, created the monster termed "ego" and trampled all natural laws to create his own. This cut him off from the natural spiritual force so easily available to him earlier and created in his mind what Hahnemann called the "mental itch". His mind was disordered and passions swayed over reason and love.
This "mental itch" caused a similiar disorder at the physical level as well. Toxins were produced in the body and, for the first time, man felt a "dis" "ease", i.e. lack of wellness. The body has its own curative powers. These powers came into action and forced the toxins inside to manifest on the skin as an "external itch". This was the body's own idea of housekeeping. Throwing the grime inside out of the window.
Man was very clever. How could he bear ugliness on the body where all could see? He suppressed these itches and thus forced the toxins back into the body. They played havoc inside and caused further disorder both in the body and the mind. Where earlier man could sin at will, now he was forced to sin by nature. He lost control over himself and made the disease force a permanent part of himself. Thus was born chronic disease. This disease state was recognised by Hahnemann and he termed it "Psora" or the evil and disordered mind.
Loosing control over the mind made made man further impetuous. He was no longer satisfied with enjoying what was moral and legally his. He visited houses of ill repute and mated outside marriage. He was thus subject to various veneral diseases, the most prominent of them being gonorrhoea and syphillis. These too were suppressed without being properly (symptomatically) treated and caused disease states Hahnemann termed "Sycosis" and "Syphillis". Disease was thus driven further into the recesses of the body of man exposing his internal organs to risk. He became more perverted, more egoistic and his mind virtually turned into hell. Sycosis made him more cunning, cruel and sadistic; Syphillis ruined his intellect and turned him into a living zombie.
Another disease state "Tuberculosis" now made its appearance threatening the very nourishment system of the body. People wasted away as the body was no longer able to assimilate either the spiritual force, nor the food it was fed. Even the nourishment of air became scarce as the lungs too were affected. The doctors found a "tubercular germ" and blasted it with antibiotics. The patients were fattened again with steroids and asked to go home as they were "cured".
Then came the attack on "germs" in the form of vaccines. These vaccines contained morbid animal matter and created a disease state very similiar to sycosis that was then termed "vacciniosis". Then followed the method of injections to directly deliver medicines into the blood stream where the same needle was shared among many patients thus leading to further spread of morbid matter and the disease states gleefully entered fresh subjects to create an epidemic situation where chronic disease became the rule of the day.
Unfortunately Hahnemann was at his peak precisely at the same moment when allopathy was catching the fancy of the "rational" minds. The poor man was ridiculed for his views, subjected to extreme torture and hounded from one city to another. Regardless, this brave warrior carried on spurred by a new breed of homoeopaths, allopaths who studied homoeopathy to prove him wrong and became homoeopaths instead! People flocked to these new healers to witness miracles no one thought would ever be possible. They went with sick bodies and minds, failed spirits and came back with renewed vigour, rejuvenated with the elixir of life.
This was too much for the allopaths to bear. They continued their abuses and threatened his patients with dire consequences. The genius lost his lovely daughter, one whom he loved more than his life, trying to flee from the wrath of the "scientific" physicians. This episode broke his spirit and led to his untimely demise but not before he had perfected the art and laid down all the ground rules. His last words were, "I have not lived in vain". Prior to this he had made another prophetic statement, "There is no hope. Allopathy will destroy mankind; physically, mentally, morally and spiritually."
Hahnemann led the basis of a symptomatic treatment that no one really paid heed to. His arguement was that symptoms were the language of the body to indicate troubles deep within. However the scientific community equated the symptoms with the disease and destroyed them without bothering about what was really wrong in the inside. They treated the body as a machine without realising that a very significant difference between the two was than man had a mind, an intellect and a life force we refer to as "prana". He had also a spiritual aim and potential to rise above his animal nature.
A leading homoeopath of today, Dr George Vithoulkas of Greece, gives a very interesting example. An intricately sophisticated and priceless machine is built. To safeguard the health of the machine and ensure longevity various troubleshooting indicators are built into it. A red light, a blinker, a siren etc. The machine unfortunately falls into wrong hands, people who have no idea about how it works. When the red light comes on indicating a malfunction within, they panick and destroy the light. When the blinkers come on they cut off the source of power, when the siren blows they destroy the speakers. Then they smile smugly at each other for all the problems have been solved! Then one day the machine quivers and fails to function. It is dead by all means, beyond repair. The repairmen exclaim, "We tried everything but could not save the machine!". Amen.
