Oh yes!!!!!!
And especially, "Let's fight this type of 'protection'"!!!
Really, it would be just another step down the slippery slope that various
factors are already trying to push us down anyway. Please don't let's help
them along. 'Cause once they've "established" that combos are dangerous,
it'll be just a heartbeat before singles become "dangerous" too. (And since
the vast majority of vitamins and herbs have already been branded
"dangerous" by CODEX, well... I think we need to *defend* our various
choices, *not* help in their attack. "I may not agree with what you are
saying, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." I forget--who
said that? Re-write -- "I may not agree with your healthcare choices, but I
will defend... well, at least give lip service
to your right to make
them.")
And echoing Eric again, *any* medicine (any substance, really) can cause
problems if misused. But if we could do a statistical analysis about how
many folks got into trouble with combos (or self-prescribing in general)
versus how many got into trouble with OTC drugs, I'm betting combos would
come up smelling pretty sweet.
