The aim of Minutus

I have no wish to take sides in the debate between Dave and Alva, except to say it should be off list, but if they want to air it in the open then I'm happy to sit back and enjoy the 'entertainment'.

That said, it clearly states in the introduction:

"The aim of MINUTUS discussion group is to share useful information on classical and Hahnemannian homoeopathy. Materia Medica quizzes (FTRNs), notes on Lesser Known Remedies and Medical Terminology lessens are also sent to members."

I'm not sure what the difference is between classical and Hahnemannian homeopathy, but I joined this list purely for its classical approach, which is based on a strong foundation of knowledge and principles - outlined in Hahnemann's 6th Organon - and whilst I welcome progress in homeopathy and am open to other methods of healing that may not be strictly classical but nonetheless may be complementary to homeopathy, I wouldn't like to see this list degenerate into just 'another homeopathic list where anything goes' - that's not what I understand the purpose of this list to be reading from its introduction!!

There are some wonderful and very knowledgeable people on this list that adhere to the classical approach and despite the fact that Dave is very controversial speech wise, I wouldn't like to see him leave. I really like reading his posts and I learn from them, as I do from many others.

The danger, as I see it, is that it would be too easy for this group to eventually become a group dishing out homeopathic advice in an allopathic manner. That would be an absolute tragedy and would have Hahnemann turning in his grave: YET, without a strong foundation to adhere to, that's exactly what could happen.

Good point, Christine.
Remember, Guys, Hahnemann discovered the point by initially giving a 250mg
dose of quinine for a fever.
Homoeopathy cures physicals and mentals etc by chemical interraction, be it
with zillions of milecules or of molecular imprints, all buzzing at a
particular number of hertzes which neutralise a causative inflammatory
condition.

The rest is all diagnosis and that is up to the individual's special
talents.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
