Laughing excites cough

Laughing sets up vibration in lungs and if there was say a bronchiectatic
cavity would assist it in draining.
What is the mucous like ,clear or purulent..
Bronchiectasis does not always show on normal X-ray needs C/T scan. Just a
thought as it is useful to know what is being treated, Jean.

A further thought. If laughing excites cough and if it is due to the
possibility that the vibration of laughing empties a cavity or sac then the
more laughing she does the better. One would not wish to suppress it as
fluid where it should not be can become infected.
I wish I could address how a cavity could be repaired, Jean
