With specificity, where in the chest is pain manifested? And is the
pain in a fixed location? In oriental medicine we might say that if
cold aggrav., it may infer a condition of pathogenic cold...a
contracting energetic action which may find relief with the application
of warmth. A fixed pain may also be a reflection of blood stagnation
which is relieved with the use of herbs and homeopathics which will
clear blood stagnation and promote circulation.

Homeopathic medicine requires the obtaining of a complete history
sufficient to allow for a diagnosis. One does not prescibe a remedy to
treat a symptom, it is the pattern which is important. It is from the
pattern that a Dx is generated and from which a Tx is rendered. The
same is true in Oriental Medicine..

Remember that it is easy to prescribe and it is difficult to diagnose.
