Sorry - I thought you had asked about uterine fibroids. Even for
tumors of the breast - Burnett is best. JH Clarke has 2 books - one
on tumors of the breast and another on diseases of glands.
I have found Definite Medication by Eli Jones -( an eclectic) so do
not look for mental symptoms there- as inspiring. Homeopathy in
Medicine and Surgery - Carleton is good too.
Personally - go by the symptoms and also the local feel of the tumor,
causation if any...stage of life of the patient
Hard ( bony)tumors - Calc. fluor, Cistus
hard - Sil, Conium
Injury-- Arnica, Conium etc.
I have used calc-iod, Sil, Lapis albus, Baryta iod apart from the
above said.
look for character of local pain - stitching pain, beaten pain etc.
look for modalities - < before menses etc.
Thyroidinum as you said could be an intercurrent, as could be Thuja,
Scirrhinum.
Most of the benign tumors respond well to homeopathy ( I cannot give
a lot of evidence that would stand up in European courts..(
confession lest I be arrested ) . but still clinically I have seen
them improve a lot)
