Minutus

I have a young patient coming in tomorrow who has just had a nasal polyp removed which was found to be cancerous. I have trawled the net and all I can find is that nasal polyps are usually benign with absolutely no details about cancerous ones. I wondered if any doctors out there can give me any information - please send privately.

Does anyone know the ending from the story Peter Pan as I had a patient in who said she can not talk about it as it is so distressing and recently she heard a song from peter Pan and ended up crying? I didn't dare ask her what it was!!!!

Wow, the wonders of google... I wasn't sure my memory was right (it's
been a while!), but found this from Wikpedia:

"Peter and Wendy
Later renamed Peter Pan.
This is the portion of J. M. Barrie's mythos of Peter Pan that is best
known to most readers.
In both the play and the novel, Peter invites the girl Wendy Darling to
the Neverland to be a mother for his gang of Lost Boys. Her brothers
John and Michael come along. Many adventures ensue, including the
near-death of the fairy Tinkerbell, and a climactic confrontation with

The only thing off the top of my head that this very nymphomaniacal ( as well as married and divorced twice) patient sees as upsetting is losing a love of their life with Peter Pan and Wendy. She (the patient ) has a partner and maybe has now found someone to stay with. I will know for when the last few pages that Arista sent. However it maybe that this patient feels she is immortal. I will have to find a way of asking that she will be able to talk about without getting too upset.

This seems like a *perfect* place to use EFT!! Have her just think
about it, tap on what comes up, and *then* (when the intensity is down)
tell you just what's so hard? That should be a *nice* pointer to the
remedy, and I'm sure there will be plenty of other "markers" to judge
the action of the remedy from!

The distress from the Peter Pan story could be associated with the refusal to grow up, the loss of innocence and carefree life. The bis issue about Peter Pan is that he never grew up and perhaps the story could be interpreted to be about the loss of opportunities, the inability to develop, to grow and to experience more about life. Hence the association with being helplessly stuck and not even being aware of it!
Having said all that the "adventures" of Peter Pan are life threatening and no a small thing. But they have few rules to follow, from that point of view it was carefree and innocent. There are no responsibilities involved in Never never land and the good guys always survive while Captain Hook is last seen being chase by the crocodile while swimming against the sunset.
So, perhaps the distress is the loss of innocence.

Would that make my patient so upset she can't talk about it? I suppose this is a possibility. She is definitely a complex person whose main issue appears to be that she can't let go of what she sees as grievances against her. I gave her Nit Ac. to start with.
