alternative therapies antidoting homeopathy

Dear Colleagues
I think Dr. J. Rozencwajg is right, if the remedy is spot on (The Similimum)
then in theory nothing would touch it. However, we are not always correct
with are remedy and if another substance interferes with it, it make our
life more difficult.
I remember when I was a student under supervision I had to deal with an
acute cough case in a little boy and the remedy selected was very well
indicated. When the mother rang to say it had had no effect, I was amazed
and went back to work and re-worked the case but again could not select an
alternative remedy.
So I rang the mum back and asked what other things have been given to the
child.
Her mother was from West Indies and a nurse to boot.
Mum explained that grandmother had tied a bag of camphor around the child's
neck to ease the cough.
Once we got that removed, the cough resolved itself within a short time!
So things like camphor will antidote best indicated remedies (dare I say
Similimum?)

I also remember an example given by Dr Naaseri who mentioned that he had
prescribed Nat-m to some one with a breast tumour who was awaiting a
mastectomy in the hope of saving her from the ordeal.
The remedy had had no effect on the tumour and a mastectomy was eventually
carried out.
The patient then became a student of homoeopathy and during one of the
lessons when antidoting was being discussed, she had suddenly burst into
tears.
On enquiring the reason, it had turned out that after taking the remedy that
night, she had then met up with her close friend who had just returned from
France and the two ladies had sat up all night and drank loads of coffee.
So perhaps there is a relationship between some remedies and some substances
(eg Nat-m and coffee) to make it the basis of a 'rule' especially when you
can see that a large per cent of people in places like UK need Nat-m.

Does anyone have any experiences pointing to alternative therapies which
clearly antidote homeopathic treatment (and those that don't)? Recent case
of a patient where the case was completely muddied after significant
improvement after he went to an osteopath and received cranio-sacral
treatment. On the other hand, there are homeopaths who say reflexology is
OK, acupuncture is not, Reiki is, aromatherapy oils are all beyond the pale
- does anyone have any recommendation? In my experience I have seen cases
helped along by reflexology and possibly by Reiki, and interfered with by
Chinese medicine and sometimes by excessive herbal supplements. Also - any
new insights into that greatly feared antidote - coffee?
