Miasms and origins( was CD HMN 15)

Dear Nader, Feras, Eleana, Andy, Shannon,
In this discussion, I am now made to think of miasms
and their origins.
As clear already, disease and health are
complementary. One cannot
exist without the other. When the seeds of health
exist in us, the seeds
of disease also must exist in us. (as the carriers of
Koch's bacillus
outnumber the actual tuberculosis patients by more
than thousands of
times, which leads us to the susceptibility
theory.)These diseases, the
seeds of which were classified by Hahnemann, into
three groups called
miasms, must also exist in us if health should exist
in us !
As homeopaths, we only have the instrument of change,
i.e the remedies
which help the vital force into change the condition
into health.
So (I think), when man came into existence, so did
disease and health.
Hahnemann did not address the origin (or he did ?) of
this.The health
was on the side of the good(thoughts, deeds) and
disease was on the side
of the evil(thoughts, deeds). The choice was man's.
Whenever the original
bad thought emerged the disease corresponding
originated in his mind.
(From this point on I intermingle Dr Ghatak's
observation also).
This is a passive state. Any passive state is bound to
be followed by
an action. This action, borne out of a forbidden
thought, created a
reaction, which was the disease proper. Thus came the
original itch.
The itch was originally mental. Then, became
physical.Hahnemann,
that is why, must have said psora represented the
itch. But again,
why the itch alone ? This is also as per the original
scheme. The
vital force, being forced to carry out the negative
reaction, took
upon it to safely place the disease, on the least
important organ,
the skin.
From here we all know the progress or relief of the
disease.The miasm,
is just a classification based on symptoms. But they
all are diseases
nevertheless.All miasmatic prescribers have clearly
warned that, unless
skin lesions break out, the cure has not yet been
reached.
I think I haven't said anything new, but placed my own
scattered
thoughts on a cohesive thread.
Nader, the disease and origins, was, is and will be a
burning issue.
But only philosophy and logic can solve this. Since,
science,
wedded to its obstinate materialism, cannot fathom,
the origins and
futures of humankind. We as healers with a philosophy
(of which
science is a part)ought to know, that mere germs are
not miasms
but that which can be caused by them are.Miasms then,
are what
are caused inside the manby an influence. That
influence is not miasm.
Miasm (or disease) and health are inside man never
outside.
Similarly, each man's miasmis unique and that is why
we talk
so much on individualisation.
I think Andy has dwelt more on the issue of
transmission.
Regards
venkat
