minutus - not homeopathy

Dear Margaret,
I will refrain from sending such messages in the future. (I had forwarded
"The Declaration of Humanity").
My own feeling, however, is that I appreciate inspiration from any direction
in these troubling times. "Take what you like and leave the rest" has been
my motto with the messages I get from anywhere, including the messages from
minutus that are not relevant or interesting to me. I appreciate the dialog
itself. It saddens me to feel that messages are annoying or "cheapened" if
they do not exactly fit within a compartmentalized definition of homeopathy.
I noticed a response to Soroush's expression of the importance of
spirituality in our practice. That person said such thoughts were not
important or relevant to practical homeopathy unless the patient says they
are. I believe it would be more beneficial to invite an open forum on such
issues, rather than squelching people's expression by saying, "That's not
homeoopathy!" I've noticed with interest how deeply spiritual many of the
great homeopaths have been, including Hahnemann. I'd like to hear more from
other practitioners and students about the connection they experience
between practice and spirituality. For me, practicing homeopathy is totally
congruent with my spiritual path. In fact, the more I develop in one, the
more it helps with the other.
My first teacher, Paul Hercu, said that at first homeopathy seems very
clear-cut, but the further you go, the more vast it becomes. That certainly
has been my experience.
Warm regards,
Charlotte
