I hope that you are not deserting the group due to my comments !!!
I was arguing so that we do not throw out the benefits of clinical
experience because some of us in poor countries cannot show
confirmations. I do not like to throw the baby out with the bath
water and least of all YOU out of the discussions. ( We certainly
touched a raw nerve there didn't we My Precious???) Hope that I did
not yank the mask, vault over the wall and touch an ancient wound …

I apologize if I have offended you if that makes you feel better and
rejoin the group where you have contributed so much to the
discussions. I respect your work despite all my comments. Do not
mind me. Have you not heard how Fools Frolic where Angels fear to
tread… Think of me as the Evil from the East. Probably I am a Thuja +
Medorrhinum combination type with the worst attitude, probing
fingers, loose trousers etc.etc. . Probably the learned masters from
Switzerland would give me Thuja "orientalis" to set me right.
Whatever it is - I do not want to deprive you of your daily diet of
discussions. In fact I pledge that this shall be my last posting to
you and about you. I shall not name your name. May be from now on I
shall call you " You Know Who" even at the risk of becoming a
Prisoner of Azkaban ( Oh- I see too many films and esp. Harry Potter
too many times). Else I understand that I might get arrested and put
in German jails. It is galling for me that a little defense of
Homeopathy and Gall stones could put Interpol in my tracks. I quake
and shake…
Let us part as friends. I give my opinion – "Homeopathy can cure gall
stones". It is your opinion that it cannot and you would believe it
only after rigorous proof. I can live with that. Now the doctor who
asked the original question can decide for himself/ herself which way
to jump. Most of us cannot give the proof as you want it I think.
Tests are costly and most of my patients are of the
Hahnemann's "Washer woman case" category. We work with whatever
quality of medical information we have access to and do the best we
can. Sometimes even the lowly ultra sound is too high for some of my
patients. Once I earn enough out of them I shall do the pilgrimage to
Germany and Switzerland to learn "Advanced Skills " to give up my
quackery practice and uphold Hippocratic Oath.
