Yes you can. But the 1g you are adding is NOT just milk sugar but
Milk sugar PLUS an imponderable.

This is very different than saying:
"to nine grams of milk sugar, and 1 gram of chopped Belladonna leaves."

Dear all,

jumping in:

PTW:
the origin of the word 'imponderable' is the latin word 'pondus':
weight, gravity,burden, constancy, mass, importance...etc.

The verb 'pendere' (pendo, pependi, pensum) means:
to weigh, to estimate, to consider....etc.
May I add:
When I use 1 gran of fresh Belladonne juice and add 100 gran of milk
sugar to prepare a fresh 1C: that's one thing.

If I expose milk-sugar to the light of sun or moon: how do I exclude
other influences?
Like: the wind, the magnetic field of the earth, a slight earth-quake
(unnoticed by humans but recorded by instruments), the influence of
planets (Venus rising in the eveing sky), a bee flying over it, a cloud
of pesticide passing over from a farmer's field nearby,......

What else could there be included in the manufacturing process, without
the manufacterer even thinking wbout it - and so not able to exclude it?

Often it seems only the FOCUS makes the remedy - or better said: gives
the remedy a name.

(Perhaps it does. Some of us know, that paper-remedies are PURE intent
and it can work - we even can make provings with them. BUt what is done
as an experiment behind the doors in a study-room is one thing, what is
published, sold and marketed may be another thing).

And IF it is the focus mainly (or only): how can that be reproduced when
it depends from the INTENT of one person?
Difficult matter.

That's why clear material substances used as the basis for a trituration
make it much easier for us to judge. At least in the first potencies we
have the amalgamations in a 'ponderable' form - from a 3C you should be
able to measure the ingredients.

Best,

Gaby
