Genus epidemicus for the world state?

Dear Friends,
I'm preparing a report about the NASH* conference, which was last weekend,
October 6 & 7. For now I'll just send out this tidbit, that Misha Norland
of England gave a keynote address, "So That the Soul Be More Deeply Known",
including a presentation of the proving of Positronium (anit-matter!). His
feeling is that Positronium could well be one of the genus epidemicus
remedies for these intense times. It is amazing the extreme polarities of
divinity and evil that are contained in the proving. You can see the
proving for yourself on the website of his school, www.homeopathyschool.com.
(If it's not there yet, check again in a few days).

I agree with Melanie that we can't treat or prevent a physical disease
epidemic that doesn't exist. However, if we look at the deeper energetic
state of the world, maybe some common remedies will emerge, especially for
the changes in people's states that have occurred since September 11.

I also think it's important to keep in mind that in any epidemic those with
increased susceptibility are most affected. This applies to epidemics of
fear and hysteria as well as physical diseases. As healers it is our duty
to avail ourselves of the many ways to strengthen our immune systems,
physical, psychic, and spiritual. For me the most powerful and essential
means to do this is to keep up with my own constitutional treatment, through
regular follow-ups with my practitioner. By the same token, I believe that
constitutional treatment is the best way to strengthen anyone, one
individual at a time.

We can also be studying and preparing for treating epidemics of acute
physical diseases, if and when they begin.

A note about pertussis: although they were not actually tested, I believe 3
and maybe all 4 of my four children had pertussis during times of epidemics
in our community. They all had long-lasting paroxysmal coughs with gagging
and "whooping" that our physician thought could have been pertussis.
However, because they were under constitutional care beforehand and
throughout, they did not even seem sick the whole time. They would just
stop and cough awhile, then go on ice-skating or sledding or running, or
whatever else they were doing. (By the time I realized that they might have
pertussis, they were already past the contagious phase. None of them had
been vaccinated for pertussis).

I love these discussions!

Blessings to all,

Charlotte Gilruth

Exactly!! Thanks for stating that so clearly.
And for the record... My son was 2 months old when his 5 year old brother
had pertussis, along with the rest of his school. Dr. Bastyr, our family
physician at the time, routinely and for generations, used homeopathic
pertussin for infants during what he termed "the wet season". Of course in
Seattle, that is for about 9 months of the year.

Hi, I am sure that if your son/s are still showing symptoms from this date
this is still a situation which can be treated homeopathically. Suppressed
cases can be difficult but not impossible hopefully. Regards, Joy.
