Homeopathy and Cystic Fibrosis

Hi all,
I've joined your list a few days ago, and I've been reading your
messages.
I'm no Doctor or Homeopathy practictioner; I'm just a concerned mom of a
soon-to-be 4 yo kid, who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis soon after
birth.
I refuse to give him the "traditional" treatment, which consists of tons
of Antibiotics every month, plus many other medicines. This disease
affects, in my son's case, his digestive and respiratory systems mainly.
He needs pancreatic enzyme supplementation, even though he's doing quite
well at a low dose. So I guess he might still have some degree of
pancreatic sufficiency.
When the kid turned 4 months old, I started visiting a very good
Homeopath in our town. We're from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I'm currently trying Curcumin on my son. There's a recent publication
of a study, which says that Curcumin corrects the basic defect on
mutated mice -- they present the same genotype as my son for this
genetic disease. As a matter of fact, after three days on Curcumin, my
kid got constipated as never before. I suspended his pancreatic enzyme
intake, and he had a very good stool: well formed, dark and sinking, as
opposed to those "typical CF ones", which are greasy, abundant, light
colored and floating (due to the maldigested fat).
I'm still in the process of finding the appropriate dosage of Curcumin
for him.
I'm also concerned on side-effects, especially in the long term usage.
I keep on reading about Turmeric and Curcumin extract ingestion.
I would immensely appreciate if someone could share his or her
experience on treating Cystic Fibrosis with Homeopathic treatment, if
such possible.
I would also very much appreciate if someone could give me some hint on
Homeopathic Curcumin -- I've read that it's been tested in Inda, if I
recall well. But I haven't found too much info on the Web about this
topic.
Thank you very much for reading!
Kind regards,
Patricia from Argentina.
PS: I had never tried Homeopathy before my kid's dx wCF -- Now I find it
fascinating indeed.
