Hi all,
I advise HIV+ patients to make a sauerkraut-like stuff without the salt. Salt may inhibit the growth of the probiotics. Cabbage + water in a sterile jar. drink the water after 3 days. Use that water as "starter" for another batch, ferments in 1 day.

Unfortunately tastes awful. But does wonders for the skin of PLWHAs (people liviing with HIV/AIDS) and GI tract.

Cabbage has an b. Sylvestri (?), a lacto-bacillis good for intestinal flora, cures ulcers, etc.

As another minutus writer wrote: a good source of probiotics.

Speaking of probiotics:
Check out a product called EM•X on the internet. An excellent product. Once you have a bottle you can be using it like a "starter" to make up more on your own. Eg 1 litre of EM•X can be made up into about 15 litres of "home-brew". Super stuff for cancer, HIV, rheumatism, etc.
