Sensation of fullness & heaviness with pain and pressure

in the forehead and root of the nose which is relieved

by discharges.
Dry cough < at night.

In conditions with much effusion into the joints; in inflammatory rheumatism with redness and worse from touch and better during the day, we find xxx holds high place. These conditions often alternate with the characteristic cough for which xxxx is best known.
CONCOMITANTS. DRY HACKING COUGH, TICKLE LEFT SIDE OF TRACHEA. NOSE STUFFED UP. EXCESSIVE DRYNESS OF SOFT PALATE.
HEART. — Sudden pain reaching through chest to spinal column; constant, worse motion; powerless if attempts to move. Attacks of great anxiety about the heart with strange sensation as if floating in the air.
SUPERIOR EXTREMITIES. — Rheumatism in right shoulder joint, deltoid and triceps, extending to forearm, worse at night; cannot put on coat, worse during day. Wrists and hands swollen, worse on motion; rheumatism of wrist joints.

INFERIOR EXTREMITIES. — Rheumatism principally of large joints; pains dull, heavy; restless nights. Severe rheumatic inflammation of knee joint; soreness to touch; redness followed by effusion. Rheumatic inflammation of right ankle joint, swollen and very painful. MUCH SWELLING ABOUT KNEE JOINT, RAISING THE PATELLA.

EXTREMITIES IN GENERAL. DARTING PAINS IN ARMS, FINGERS, JOINTS, THIGHS AND TOES. SWELLING AND STIFFNESS OF HANDS AND FEET. HEAT, SWELLING AND CIRCUMSCRIBED REDNESS OF JOINTS IN INFLAMMATORY RHEUMATISM. In rheumatism of joints having large amount of serous fluid. Sharp darting, lancinating pains first in knee joints, then elbow and shoulder, then fingers, finally involving every joint of the body.

BACK:
- Stiffness and rheumatic pain of neck, ext. to shoulders.
EXTREMITIES:
- Chorea-like spasms.
- Legs feel as if floating.
- Rheumatic pains procede catarrhal symptoms.
- Rheumatic pain of right shoulder and arm.
- 'Housemaid's knee'. Shooting pains in knees.
- Red spots of inflammation on affected joint.
SLEEP:
- Sleeplessness from cough, nervousness, after surgical operations.

Therapeutics
- This remedy is indicated in catarrhal affections.
[- There is a dull headache and pressure at the root of the nose before the discharge appears.
[- There is dryness of the nasal membranes and a constant desire to blow the nose, but there is no discharge.
[- It is useful in catarrhal bronchitis.
- The throat is rough and there is a dry, hacking cough, which is worse at night and during inspiration.
[ It is of service in rheumatism, when there is swelling, heat, redness and shooting pain in the affected joint.
[ - The rheumatic pains precede the catarrhal symptoms.

This remedy has the cough is somewhat gastric in
origin since it is always accompanied and amel by
eructations.

Every cold brings on a coughing spell that partakes
the nature of Whooping cough.- Kent
