Which repertory to use

There seems to be some confusion as to which repertory is the best. As a
rule the more complete a repertory the better it is, but we should use all
repertories. We should also bear in mind that the Final Judge is the
Materia medica and not the repertory. The repertory is at best an index and
can never take the place of the materia medica. Before prescribing any
remedy we should consult the materia medica to see if it fits the case or
not.

There are not only many repertories but also many methods of repertorization
and we should use different methods in different cases and never become
prejudiced in favour of one reporty or one method at the expense of another
repertory or another method. In the fight against disease we have to use
everything that is available to us.
