I suppose you've looked at this rubric, is it a starting point?
GENERALITIES; DIARRHEA; amel.: abrot., bry., cimic., cyt-l., kali-c.,
nat-s., ph-ac., podo., puls., querc., saroth., zinc.
There must be more to say about the patient in terms of temperament,
preferences, sensitivities, childhood, when/how/why this started,
cirumstances, etc.? I think IBS is considered to be emotional in origin, so
it would seem essential to consider his emotional nature and the
stresses/influences upon it?
