Dear Group Member,

These days, the fever is not controlled by Ferrum Phos, Belladonna and
regular Constitutional Remedies, Unlike earlier times.

Particularly for the Past One Month I am getting more failure rates.

Any seasonal Disturbance or Any suggestion.

Dr.V.Ankayarkkanni, BHMS.

I'm interested in your observation!
Can you describe the situations in which the remedies are failing -- can you
describe more about the fevers besides that they are high, or about the
patients involved, their ailments or medical history? How often do you see
patients with a temp as high as 106?
Thankyou,
Shannon

Streptococcinum 200 single dose followed by Strepto in 30c every 30
minutes for 6 doses.

It will clear up very quickly and remain stable.

Next day repeat with Strepto 200c sd in the morning.

Dear Angayarkanni,
We think of Ferr p, kali m and Acon only when we see
fever as fever.
Without for a moment being overawed by the situations
like a
high temperature, the delirium ,the terrible weakness
of the
patient, a throbbing pulse and the worried look of the
family,
just watch and make a few queries. First the objective
symptoms (which are seen and understood by the
physician)

1.Heat- general or partial
2.Chill-genaral or partial
3.Sequence (chill-heat-chill etc)
4.Physical movements(restlessness,general or single
parts)
5.mental
condition(dull,angry,repulsive,irritable,crying,muttering,
singing, talkative,fearful, jesting,more reaction
for a lesser pain
etc etc)
6.Change of skin colour esp face.
7.Tongue
8.Look- esp face
9.Eyes
10. Disposition- well despite fever or worse, sudden
impulse to work
during fever, some crazy ideas about cleanliness
etc
11. Time of occurrence of chill or fever and
periodicity
12. Stool and urine- physical appearance- and nature
of

Subjective
1. Thirst-general
again for cold or hot drinks
small or large quantities
thirst with desire to drink or without
2. Pain in locations or general
3. Other 'sensations as if' told by the patient
4. Hunger
5. Cravings& aversions

The essence is keep cool and see the things in the
quikest possible
time. My ability to deal these situations has come
from my using
the Boger's repertory which has a fantastic fever
repertory built in.
Praful Vijaykar's chart of acutes will also be
helpful. But an acute
may be life threatening. If you cannot see what is
common to fever
and what is uncommon, even a tonne of Aconite cannot
quell the
fever. If you have learnt this art, a single dose will
do miracles,
as I am seeing in my limited 'practice'.

My employee, compalined of severe pain in right ear,
with symptoms
of inflammation by worse movement and a feverish
look.He said all
my words are amplified and heard by me. In this the
fever, ear pain,
and worse motion are common. But the acute hearing-to
his own sound
is uncommon. Bell 200 aggravated immediately but
gradually
cured by evening.

There was a time when temperature used to dictate my
prescription.
Not now. End of Rant. All the best.
Venkat

I have found that, Heat in the fascia and upper regions of the body are ameliorated well with Belladonna; however, heat in the Humor, the blood, is ameliorated best with Lachesis

Can you describe for me how to recognize (or what is meant by) "heat in the
Humor", or the blood? Is it another type or experience of "fever", or
something different?
Thanks,
Shannon
