Vital Force, Primary and Secondary Actions 1- Paul

Hello Paul,

It is nice to speak with you again. I have watched the curative process
1000s of times over the last 30 years and it amazes me how homeopathy
works. In aphorism 11 Hahnemann wrote that disease is "initially" a
mistuning of the vital force by a negative dynamic agent. This "initially"
is often not noticed. That means at the "start" disease is a functional
change in the vital force but latter it included organic pathology. This
pathology must also be removed before we can call them "cured". So disease
seems to go from disease function to disease pathology and cure seems to go
from functional correction to the pathological healing. The replacement of
symptoms by the remedy-disease and cure of both the function and pathology
seems to happen in degrees.

How does this fit into the idea that the curative secondary action of
the vital force can only start once the dynamic disease is overcome. It
seems that in many cases one gives a dose and the primary action begins
replacing certain symptoms of the disease and there is already an increase
in vitality and well being yet the functional aspect of the disease is not
totally removed. You give another dose and more symptoms are replaced and
the secondary action of the VF again continues in degrees to remove the
remedy disease and restore more vitality and function. Slowly but surely
under a series of doses the complete disease is over-tuned by the remedy
and curative response continues until the pathology is finally cured.

In other words, many times the process seems to be a balance of the
primary action and secondary action in stages and degrees rather than first
the primary action is complete and then the secondary curative action
begins. What do you think about this?

Sincerely, David Little
