But, Anna, have you tried any remedies?

I have watched the development of Anna's postings here and at first I
thought, Wow, some people are really jumping down her throat
instead of addressing her queries. But her last "poke at the bear"
did indeed reveal that much of the antagonism she has provoked
was on the mark.
Anna, have you ever experienced the effect of a homeopathic remedy?
Have you ever experienced the antidoting of a remedy which
was working on you? Have you ever proven a remedy, accidently or
otherwise? Have you ever experienced the remedy relationship
called "inimical" in the materia medicas? (That's REALLY fun...)
Have you ever selected the correct remedy based on a rare &
peculiar symptom? Have you ever brought someone back from the brink
of physical or mental despair with a single little sugar pill? I
have -- all of the above. So I know homeopathic remedies affect. I
have experienced the power of homeopathic remedies and so I
study to be able to use that power to help myself and others.
I have found that when I ignore the precepts/rules, the remedies
either don't affect or they cause trouble -- in precisely the way 200
years of encyclopedic and scientific research says that they will. I
have found that in homeopathy, truth holds over time. It is not
disproven or discarded when the next theory comes along, or when they
come up with a microscope that magnifies ever and ever
more.
You say that homeopathic theory must stand up to the "rigors" of
modern scientific studies/theory. I say, let allopathy stand up to
the rigors of homeopathic studies and theory. Show me a medical
textbook from 200 years ago which is considered truth today.
Show me an allopathic materia medica which is in use from 100 years
ago -- shoot, even from 10 years ago. Very little of what
passed for truth in allopathy 100 years ago is considered truth
today. So whatever is a la mode in your almighty "modern science"
today, will fall by the wayside in a few years. You know that it
will. And as the "modern scientists" scrabble for another theory du
jour to explain their failures, homeopaths will keep studying truths
which remain true over time.
Meanwhile, for compulsive bear-poking, I would prescribe Duct tapum, in rather material dosages.
